Bitch Witch is the story of Sarah Elizabeth Archer, descendant of a long line of dark witches. Sarah is trying desperately to not use dark matter to cast her spells as it only brings out more evil in her, but she slips now and again. A Target run while she has PMS and a confrontation with another woman leads to a spell cast against the woman's truck. Problem is that spells like this rebound against the user so Sarah's jeep is pushed into a nearby BMW causing a lot of damage to the car.
The car is driven by Paul Revere Longfellow, a veteran of Afghanistan and son of an Oklahoman oilman, who is resolving some issues with PTSD by fetching the car for his father. Another little rebound love spell gets Sarah involved with Paul, though not in the way she thought the spell would work.
This story has a lot of humor and it's the type that I really like. The concept for the story was also interesting. The descriptions of Shrewsbury and Mass L&P are perfect and all of the characters are funny and engaging, even the minor ones. Sarah's friend at work might be my favorite.
Both Sarah and Paul are a great couple and also good friends. This was a good read, a little different from the usual paranormal, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
