I have pretty neutral feelings about this play. I think if I ever saw a theatre doing it I would be curious to go watch to see how they do it, but as for a read I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it. It was a cool concept and I will continue to think about it and the significance of the dolls. I think it’s a cute coming of age story. However I do find Holly to be kind of unbearable but maybe that’s just my read of her and someone else’s interpretation can make her more justified. I kind of wish we got to see more of Yager, I disliked him in a way that made me want to hate him even more but I feel like we didn’t get the chance.
