I need to stop pretending I'm going to finish this. I mostly read the entries out of spite, this contains some of the absolute worst analysis of the vampire chronicles imaginable. I read the main character entries and they are all horrible, as well as entries on gender and sexuality or BDSM. Anne Rice's opinions of her characters changed a lot throughout the series and it is really evident that this was written when she was also writing Tale of the Body Theif, easily one of the worst VC books. The only interesting bits are mentions of what the plot of IWTV was in the first draft and connections between the books and Anne Rice's life
