Full disclosure: I have a story in this anthology entitled "F**k Fangsgiving" so I have to support the book and give it 5 stars.
Outside of that, there are some really good stories in here that are well worth going out of your way to read.
My absolute favorites were:
"Raising the Dead" by Derek Austin Johnson
An emotional and heartfelt look at the people left behind when a zombie outbreak subsides. Hits close to home especially if you're a parent.
"All Over Now" by Juleigh Howard Hobson
A grim and nihilistic post-apocalyptic zombie story with just the right mix of hope and hopelessness to keep you reading until the gut-wrenching finale.
"One in a Thousand" by Luke Walker
A supremely creepy tale of a man who finds himself on a train ride straight to Hell. Or is the destination somewhere even more sinister? Total nightmare fuel.
Also, check out my fun little story "F**k Fangsgiving" about siblings who return home for Thanksgiving to kill their family due to the fact that they're a treacherous nest of vampires. Or are they?
Enjoy!
