Haunted be the Holidays - What better way to bring in the Halloween atmosphere than with a murder mystery. Global Tower Theatre is in the middle of a murder case that Dakota and Brodie try to solve. There is no better way to get answers that to involving the soul of who has already died. While the clues come in the reader is set on en enjoyable and interesting journey. This books makes me want to read the others in the Krew of Hunters Series. This was a great addition to the 1001 Dark Nights series.
Control - Reznor never expects to find a woman like Desi as his new next door neighbor. But when the two come together the reader is taken on a journey that will have them laughing out loud as well as wiping sweat from their faces. A perfect combination of smart and sassy with strong, alpha and hot as hell. It is short and sweet but really packs a punch. This was a enjoyable read.
Hunky Heartbreaker - Country boy meets city girl in this sweet but sexy novella by Kendall Ryan. Duke Wilder has a mess to clean up with the family's distillery, and when the beautiful attorney Valentina arrives to clean up the mess there is more than just a professional relationship that is going on. The two have sparks right from the instant they meet and it only continues as they become more and more involved. I only wish this was a full length novel as i hated to see the story end. Perfect in every way!!
The Darkest Captive - The one that is hated finally gets his story with the one that is loved. Galen is the baddest of the bad in the immortal world. Hated by most and feared by others. Legion is the former demon who has been tortured and abused once she ran away from a small spark and connection. But now the two are reunited and the sparks fly once again. Their connection knows no bounds and their story which is short, quick and sweet really packs a punch. I have not read other books in the series but I may just have to start.
