Things are heating up! This volume is miles better than volume 3.

I was really enjoying this until Ananke gave her piss poor explanation for murdering 4 of the Gods. I hope this will be explored and expanded on in the next volume otherwise I simply won't bother continuing with this series. Very disappointing.

Lots of action and more beautiful artwork. An improvement from Volume 3 for sure!

Review is for the individual comics contained in this collection.

Rising Action certainly lives up to its name, as Ananke’s faction and the opposition finally come to very literal and godlike blows. I won’t say much here because of potential spoilers, but, wow, the series chose a heck of a time to take a few months off.

I am intrigued to see how the repercussions of events in this volume’s closing pages play out in the future, as more of Ananke’s mission comes to light. Her final pages in this arc open up a whole new realm of mystery and potential disaster.
