this was a really moving recollection of Bobby’s life. I don’t have much experience with grief (that I can remember) but this piece provided some insightful commentary about it which I appreciated.

I read this a few years ago when it was an online article. When I heard that it was being released in a bound book, I jumped at a chance to pick it up. The story of this one young man who lost his life o 9/11 and the resulting cycle of grief, conspiracy, anger, and acceptance that the family went through in the intervening years is some of the best writing I have ever read. If you haven't read the article you can still find it online, but I am really glad I have it on my shelf as a tangible testament to the power of love and loss.
