Not sure how I felt about this one. From the get go, you know it's going to be hard for the author to write a complete story, which way to go, will it be a cliche etc. I felt that the author did a good job of showing the grey and the middle ground reaction and action of the characters. The last chapter was such a random plot twist, not sure how I felt about it

This book was really good. It was so thought-provoking and had me asking myself so many questions. It really makes the reader think about questioning what we see and read on social media and the conclusions we jump to. It really gave me a lot to think about.

Ola and Michael were both really compelling main characters to follow. Neither were perfect and that was what made them so interesting. We see the story from both of their perspectives, how they both handle the situation and the mistakes they make along the way. It was such a page-turning plot, I didn’t want to put it down.

An interesting concept with 3d characters, i do think that the q+a section with the authors and one of the narrators was very good and added a lot of context to the writing

I had a hard time with this one. The premise was intriguing but I very quickly found myself either bored or outright put off while reading the characters' thoughts. I'm not sure what the goal of this book was, a large part of it felt apologist or highlighting the possibility of women lying which felt icky. Michael was a terrible man regardless of his presence on the list. I think at one point he acknowledges the way women feel at any given moment and it was like an aha moment for him that went sort of nowhere? Ola was frustrating to read as well, I felt it was obvious she couldn't marry Michael (successfully) pretty much right away, and ended up finding her unrelatable and unsympathetic. I think the book could have spent a bit of time upfront showing the reader their relationship rather than starting with the posting of the list, because then it felt like a battle backwards to convince us of their love and compatibility. Lewis also was a frustrating character; he was casually homophobic in his language and I don't think the "reveal" at the end with
his suicide
absolved him of his accusations at all, though the book (or the internet in the book) seemed to? I don't know, on the whole I think this just wasn't for me and that's okay.
