Satire done so well. New author unlocked for me, she died so young and had such an interesting adventure filled life, leaving me wanting to know more about her.
You hate the character but you know it's not just one human; written so expertly that you can't stop reading further, just to see how he's going to react to what's happening.
Features the Japanese invasion of Shanghai, the troubles and the upheaval of masses. Brilliantly written.
