{My thoughts} – Emily and her crew are on a quest to find Cielis. They find a pilot and a way to get there and then when they find it, she gets a feeling that things are off. She expresses this to her mom who tells her to look on the bright side. She isn’t able to shake the feeling. Her friends aren’t allowed into the building. Two of her acquaintances end up in jail. The room they are told to stay in for the night gets locked. That’s only the beginning of the things that aren’t seemingly right.
Emily is then told that she will be forced to compete in some games to see which of them is strong enough to take a seat on the council. There is a group of them and they are all dropped into a cave like structure and told to battle it our more or less. They all decide to work together to accomplish a goal and that’s when Emily figures out things are really really wrong.
I really enjoyed this addition to the storyline and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. I am truly invested in seeing where the author is going. I love how the images and words on each page stand out and make you want to stare at them for hours. It’s a well put together series and I am looking forward to starting the next book soon!

God! What an amazing graphic novel! My favorite in the series so far. The art was beyond beautiful and everything was so action pact. I loved it much...
