Definitely has some Gossip Girls vibes - soooo much drama but still some important discussions. Very addictive.

I sadly think this series has more than run its course. This book just wasn't as engaging and enjoyable as the other books. Part of it was the amnesia trope, which I wouldn't say I like though it was done better in this book than in others.

I did like the ending. And I hope that maybe a spin-off series is to follow. Maybe with Nina, Daphne, and the French princess, Luisa? Or maybe from Prince Jefferson's perspective who isn't very likable from what is shown in these books. And I hope he and Nina don't end up together. That was the one part of the epilogue I didn't like.

I did like that the emails weren't from who I thought they were from. And that Gabriella at least partly got her comeuppance.

Overall, it was good, but it just felt a bit worn out. I know the previous book left a lot of things hanging but I think this book could have been shorter.

*Spoilers ahead*

I truly loved this series. The characters were lovable and hate-able and I loved all their intertwined stories, plots, and developments. What a whirlwind of a ride and final book in the series. I love Nina and Jamie together, I think they are so cute and he’s very good for her. I would hope that even being a crown prince would be easier than the prince of America and honestly I think I’m team Jamie. I do feel like nina and Jeff are destined for each other but I also loved all her insight on them being together because they are each others pasts and childhoods and that she needed someone else as an adult for her future. I like that the door is open for them to at least be friends, and if they are right fir each other then they’ll end up together in the suspended future of the book world.

Daphne got such an amazing ending and I know she will be incredible as second hand if France. I truly believe she can help Louise and Alexei both rule while also being married. I LOVE that she and Nina were finally able to talk and work everything out. They need each other as friends and I’m so happy they got that ending.

Sam and Marshall getting to be together also makes me very happy, and her gutsy decision to not take back her titles and pursue law school maybe is so fitting to me. She’s a free spirit and I’m glad she’s not letting herself be limited by her birthright anymore.

Beatrice remains so wonderful and wholesome. Teddy is my favorite and I’m so glad she fell in love with him again. Her coronation and their surprise wedding were perfect and I love the strength she gained through weakness. The memory loss was rough but watching her accept that she may ever get it back and that she could still be an amazing ruler without it was great.

The story twists were fairly predictable and I figured most of them out but I don’t see that as a negative. These books are lighthearted and fun to read. They’re easy and engaging and I don’t need them to be dark and twisty, especially the last book. So I was very happy with this read and feel like everyone got a happy ending that I like.
