Well, this is a super cute little diversion. OK, the small town is inadvertently hosting Zompires Gone Wild, but that ending? Adorable!
Also, the scene in the gym really reminded me of the Buffy movie when she's doing gymnastics and Merric is lurking and watching her. I don't know if it's intentional, but I like to think it is. It's been years since I watched the Buffy movie (it's so bad - the dialogue is great, but clunky delivery makes it painful) so I can't remember it well, but I have a memory of something like this. Anyone else think that?
I always like a Karl Moline art interlude too, and his style works really well with this story. Looking forward to part 2 of this fun side story.
