I've now had some distance from reading this and I honestly couldn't tell you one thing about the book. Also decided not to pick up the sequel because life is short and why read a sequel when you barely liked the first?
Has potential, but characters & story aren't quite fleshed out enough. The setting was what intrigued me the most. I'll read the sequel just 'cause.
