It read more like a quote book / her writing down her thoughts, but some of her work was still a delight to read.

I don’t like to rate poetry books. With fiction there’s always that aspect of the right time for the book, sometimes that book isn’t that great, but it was the perfect time for it, and the rating can go up, or vice versa. With poetry it’s even more intense – the feeling while I read the book, the thoughts and emotions it provokes can depend on a right time aspect even more than with other genre. So maybe it wasn’t the right time…
But. I haven’t found anything special here. And maybe this versatility is good, many people can relate to it, most of us have been in similar life situations, events. At the same time, I think we could find similar scribblings in every other person‘s diary. I read the book in one sitting, for other genres that‘s a big compliment, it means I couldn‘t put the book down. It‘s a different story with poetry – I like to savour it, to read it in small sections, to reflect, to carry the thoughts with me for a few days. I just read this book from cover to cover in one sitting. I like pictures, though I didn‘t pick a poetry book for pictures. Maybe the time wasn‘t right.

Her works are truth. Amazing how the order someone else puts their letters in can speak to you so.
