The first half moved slow, but then it improved a lot.

Everyone in this book was INSUFFERABLE. If I wanted to watch two complete assholes fall in love I would go back to NYC and sit on the L train for a few hours. (Which would be nice actually because this pandemic has kept me from going back to the states but like you get what I mean).

Also pro tip to any single friends out there: if a guy says he is just like Harry from When Harry Met Sally...RUN

first half of this book dragged on because there weren’t a lot of interactions between the two, but the second half picked up quick. this was a cool concept and kind of reminded me of emily henry’s writing which i love. i love a man going through a crisis so miles was hot, and i love new york so what more could you ask for. this was the most rom com book i’ve read in forever it was refreshing. hate kids though so that plot line wasn’t doing it for me (and i feel like it should’ve been wrapped up in the epilogue? so much talk about it for there to be no closure). super cute tho

A truly ridiculous premise that doesn’t hold up at all but I genuinely liked both of the main characters and wanted them to find their happy ever after.
