It makes me sad to see people so hung up on Sera's sexuality when the story itself was so beautiful. I loved the worldbuilding and the mystery of it all. I only wish that the writer had taken the opportunity to include the Aroace representation I'd hoped for. The logical fallacies of Sera's male preferences distract a lot from the actual plot and point of the book, but otherwise, it was brilliantly written.  The most fascinating parts were Leela's perspective, and I hope we see much more of her in the next book.
