This book was marketed as being a story about polyamorous lesbians and the big plot twist is that the protagonist is the only straight girl who lives there and how she never fit in because of it as a queer reader, I just felt like this was not a good take. The “what if the shoe was on the other foot” thing just felt offensive. I also saw from other reviews that it later takes a turn that definitely has racist undertones (borderline overtones). Such a disappointing read.
