I thoroughly enjoyed her other foray into the Holmes-verse in [b:The Ghost and Dr. Watson: A Shadow Council Archives Novella|39074183|The Ghost and Dr. Watson A Shadow Council Archives Novella|Alexandra Christian|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1520445908l/39074183._SY75_.jpg|60238698] and this continues in that same vein, with Dr. Watson, haunted by the ghost of Sherlock Holmes, and finding out that there is indeed more in heaven and earth than he had ever previously understood.
This take on Mrs. Hudson and the new life granted that put-upon landlady at 221 B Baker Street was a delight. The book stands alone well, but is even more fun if you've read other stories featuring the Shadow Council. I look forward to more!
