This anthology heavily featured characters from the Odyssey Cycle and later, though there was one interesting story of Barrin as a young apprentice and another featuring Baron Sengir which, unfortunately, cancels out the cool Homelands comic book from the '90s. I never could get in to the Otaria books as much as the Legacy storyline.

This revives a bit of my hope for MTG lore! While the some of the stories were hit and miss, that's par for the course in any anthology and the stories were - at the very least - somewhat interesting. I especially liked the story about the girl and the plague rats. I look forward to reading more MTG lore.
