i'm a big fan of x-men and comics, but this book just fell flat. I think a major problem in it was that I truly wanted to like the characters, but there wasn't enough depth in them to really like them.

I liked the story ok, but not the art as much. I'm still new to manga and I know a lot of the male characters look similar, but I had a really hard time telling the difference between Kitty Pryde and her male X-Men friends. I'll continue to buy this series for the library as I imagine it will be quite popular, but I don't think I'll be reading anymore.

A lovely book, but it really did have very little in the way of discernable plot. It also left itself open for a second book, but the series was cancled before it could continue.

Allright...this was sweet...this was really sweet and I wish there were more volumes! However, when Beast becomes Totoro and Collusus...looks like a toy soldier...you just know some of the original epicness has died. I do however think that it was a creative twist to the original characters and although it was very un-canon, I still think that it was just a fun manga overall, beautiful, nice story, just needs to keep going!!

This is terrible and I loved it. The fact that it never got a second volume (with more girls) is a crime against humanity.

I did not have the problem that most Marvel fans had, most likely because I am a recent fan myself. There was barely any romance, so I am amused by the complaints of the romantic plots. I would tell those people to stay away from Shojo manga, but I myself, love it.

I'm a fan of the X-Men movies, so when my youngest daughter picked this up at the library, I knew I had to read it too. I enjoyed it. Fun storyline - even though I didn't like Kitty as the only girl. Great artwork. Looking forward to the next book (so is my daughter!).
