I could write a fancy review, but that would bore both of us. So I am going to try and explain how the book made me feel. Reckless in Love gave me hope. Hope that love conquers all. Hope that the past won't always influence the future. Hope that communication will flow freely. Reckless in Love made me happy. Happy for Charlie when she was able make her mom's life better. Happy for Sebastian when he realized he could love. Happy for Charlie when she finally (yes, finally) explained what was happening emotionally to Sebastian. Happy for Charlie when she was completely accepted by the Mavericks. Charlie's "vocation", talent are a focus point in the book. The creativity, the art described was incredible. I want to go find the sculptures. I want one in my yard. The way the process was explained put me along side the characters. Just like two puzzle pieces, Charlie and Sebastian just fit. Along with all of the positive, I got to continue me disgust for Whitney. That gal just needs to go.

Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully have done it again. I am continually amazed at how words can be put together and evoke so much emotion. Sebastian and Charlie's book is the 2nd book in the Maverick Billionaires series.

You could sense the strong emotions from the very beginning of the story. Charlie's art was brought to life. Sebastian and Charlie's feelings for each other were strong, yet fragile at the same time. There was something slow, easy, sensual in their relationship.

Their story took you on a rollercoaster of emotion and the ride didn't end until the last page. I loved the first book also. This one "felt"different.

Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully have a hit on their hands with Reckless in Love. I've been a fan of Ms. Andre's since I first started reading her books and this one is just as good. Sebastian was easy to love and I found myself melting when he tried to care for Charlie's mother. Charlie's insecurities made her seem real to me, although there were a few times that they became annoying. Both Charlie and Sebastian were people I could relate to and I loved reading their story. This book beats out the first book in this series by far for me and I can only hope that the next one will be even better. I give this book a solid 4.5 stars and recommend reading it.

I drawn into this series because of the blurp said charlie is a sculpture. I like the idea of art. Like many Bella Andre book this book is minimum angst. Not so much on plot story. Midthrough the book i feel like attending a self help motivation convention. Not so much steam either.

Just in this book, it add a bit dark side due to sebastian past. But even that the dark story is minimal.

The second book in the series tells the story of Sebastian Montgomery. Sebastian is our second Maverick billionaire, he has achieved great fame and Fortune as one of the best media moguls. His speeches empower and enrapture audiences to change their lives. However, Sebastian cannot come to terms with his own passed despite the inspirational words he says to his audiences. When he sees the sculpture of a dragon outside of a church he knows he just has to find the artist who created it. He is a prize to discover that the creator of the sculptor is an artist named Charlie Ballard. When Sebastian meet her, he sees something special in Charlie straight away, something he has never seen in any other woman before and he knows he just has to have her. However, can Sebastian let go of his past to realise his dream to have true love? Charlie is an artist and part-time teacher, she builds sculptures out of junk that she finds at garage sales. When Sebastian offers a commission to build a sculpture that will be the centrepiece of his new main headquarters, Charlie is excited however she is also intrigued by Sebastien him self. Charlie is fiercely independent and wishes to make her own way in the world so she can take care of her mother who due to severe arthritis lives in a nursing home, her dream is to get her mother into a better facility and Sebastian's money can allow this to finally happen. However, when Sebastian offers to help further and offer more money, Charlie refuses, she is fiercely proud and independent and is determined to make her own way. Sebastian is determined to make Charlie a top artist as he believes she has a huge talent and is determined to make sure she is noticed. Charlie however enjoys her teaching and the visions she gets for her own creations after spraying some sketches that Sebastian has drawn and hidden away from the world, she is determined to convince him to bring his own talent out and when she finds out about his past, she is determined to help him come to terms with it. Will these to be able to try and find the love they deserve? Read to find out. This is a fantastic series of books, the characters are engaging and all have complicated passes. However love ultimately triumphs.

I did enjoy this story, but at times, for me personally it got a little frustrating, and I did get a bit fed up with the repetition of the word toxic, especially in the first half of the story. However I did like Sebastian, Charlie and her mum and the story itself was sweet, light, easy to read with no real angst, and a few hot moments.

So overall I would recommend it, especially if you like your romance light hearted and sweet, and I certainly will look out for Matt's story when its released next year.

I really enjoyed getting to know the guys in The Maverick Group from the first book in this series, Breathless in Love, and I couldn’t wait to read more. Reckless in Love by Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully is the second book in the Maverick Billionaire series and I liked it even more than the first.

Reckless in Love follows Sebastian Montgomery, who is a media mogul, and gives motivational talks and such. And he’s building a new headquarters for The Maverick Group. When he sees Charlie’s sculpture, he knows she’s just the person to build a sculpture for the new HQ.

Sebastian is a perfectionist. He’s a major perfectionist, particularly when it comes to himself. This was so easy for me to relate to, because I am that way too. I could understand how he feels, and relate to issues he has because of it. But Sebastian is also just the nicest guy, and I loved him wholeheartedly.

Charlie is one unique lady, but I loved her straight away. She’s really comfortable with who she is. She loves to wear comfortable clothes, and work on her art (which is making these sculptures out of found metal objects), and teach at the community college. Charlie is just so loveable. But she does have some worries, particularly making sure her mother (who is quite ill) is taken care of. I love how much Charlie loves her mother, and how close she is to her mom.

There is some serious chemistry between Charlie and Sebastian, and they both admit it right away. But Charlie is a little apprehensive since Sebastian has just hired her, and Sebastian doesn’t want to push Charlie at all. Seriously, I loved that about Sebastian. He totally respects Charlie, and waits until she is completely sure of his motives.

Sebastian’s need for perfection definitely causes issues in Charlie and Sebastian’s relationship, but not because he was expecting Charlie to be perfect, but because he was expecting himself to be perfect. Luckily they are able to work through it.

Reckless in Love left me wanting the next book in this series so much, and I absolutely HATE having to wait for it. Like seriously, why isn’t it out yet? Because I need it! Reckless in Love is perfect for contemporary romance fans. This review was originally posted on Quinn's Book Nook
