Fun read for kids moving into chapter books. Lots of silliness but perfect for 2nd/3rd grade. Would probably make a fun read aloud as well. (The series came recommended by a friend's daughter.)

Humorous story of family with mother winning all sorts of competitions and children having substitute teacher who seems delightful but is she? It is quite clear from the outset although it may trick the younger readers, although one suspects it won't.
