“We do not remember days, we remember moments."

I really do not know how to feel about this book. This book was heavy. Coming off of The Fault in Our Stars, I think this book is very similar, but there are a few differences that made me not enjoy this book as much as The Fault in Our Stars. I didn't like the writing style as much. Some lines felt very outdated. I didn't really like the characters as much, either. Their relationship felt a bit insta-lovey to me as well, like in The Fault in Our Stars. There were a few moments I liked, but there were also several that I disliked. The discussions around sensitive topics are ones that should be talked about, and destigmatized, yet, I feel as if there are better books out there for that.

i did not finish the book because i feel like im not interested in y/a novels anymore, i have other interests and want to read more about my own age and older.

my friends that have read this in high school they loved it, i have read another book form this writer and liked that book too.

i’m a bit sad i missed out reading this book in high school, i probably would have at least liked it.

Well...
This book didn't made me cry.. Although it is supposedly mixture of TFIOS and "Eleanor and Park"...both of these books had me tight and go my heart shatter multiple times.. Eleanor and park i read a month back .. Although it didn't involved "this" tragic events it had me with tears.. But this book.. What to say.. I didn't feel anything.. Am I heartless? No, not at all.. Actually from reading the synopsis of book it was clear to me what end would be..so that could be a reason.. I have lived life with thoughts and emotions described in this book very nearly.. (i was fortunately saved every time).. But still I didn't move a "finch".. (although I am not freak). **pun intended **
What I enjoyed is the self discovery of Violet and how she starts living life again..
So yes overall glad that didn't buy this book and could finish it in handful of days..!!!
