I really enjoyed this sequel to Twilight--more than the first actually. The absence of Edward's constant perfection was a nice change, and I developed a huge literary crush on Jacob Black. Bella's heartbreak through the first section was easy to identify with as a female reader who lived though many a high school and college crushes herself (not vampire crushes, mind you, but they felt pretty major at the time...). The developing relationship between Jake and Bella was just as tense and enjoyable as the action. I'm on my way this afternoon to buy the third book, and the fourth probably, just to be prepared since I burned through this one in about three days.

I didn't know, I'm Team Edward, but I missed him. Bella was boring with all her misery, and everyone annoyed me at the end.

It was good, and I liked reading about Bella and Jacobs friendship. It was an easy read since there was a lot of dialogue.
