i have such a mixed feeling about this book, i half enjoyed the fast paced descriptive nature that made me think of punk sound to describe the 1970’s but i fucking hated the main character and a lot of the monologues felt self wanky. slightly reminded me of my dad lol i think i wasn’t in the mood to read a no punctuation long sentences sort of book. i did enjoy parts of it but i felt like i was trying to get through it rather than enjoying it x
