A sorrowful, strange, and pretty story, with the whimsical feel of mythology. The visual text is stronger than the written, but doesn't detract too much.

Lovely illustrations, but the story is lacking.

This book is a work of art. I could look at each panel on each page for a very long time. The colors are so bright and attractive. Its worth reading for the art alone. Every time I sit down and read it I do it in one sitting because its just so short and so consumable. I wouldn't say the story is great, its a little confusing and pointless, but it makes up for it with its beauty.

Oh my goodness, I loved this. Such a strange and beautiful graphic novel. The protagonist’s voice made it feel like an Ishiguro novel. Just lovely, and the art is stunning.

The illustrations were beautiful and I loved the prologue, but the writing afterwards was truly weird for a comic. It’s as if they tried to adapt a short story to comic form and just pasted the whole text there without letting the art speak for itself. I wish the art and text worked together for it to read more like a comic instead of an illustrated short story, but maybe that’s what they were going for?
