I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy, but that's the only thing I'd like to be.

god i havent read this since freshman year but i liked it so much more this time. holden caulfield voice of a generation etc etc this book is about being a mentally ill teenager and also the mortifying ordeal of being known

Herlezen.

I didn't really understand why this is a classic until the last few chapters. It's a lot of build up, but I think it's worth it. It's a quick read and just genuine. It does get hard to read the same phrases all the time, but it's to make a point. Everything comes together in the end beautifully, and I'm glad to have finally read it. I'm not sure how I went through my schooling without ever having to read it. I'm not sure if I would have liked it when I was younger, so I'm glad I read it now.
