People who claim to predict the ending of this book have to be lying… I literally think it gave me whiplash with the amount of times I thought I saw it coming and ended up being completely wrong

Isabel, Becca, and I’s first book club book! This book was… interesting. The writing style was very unique, the narrator had a very strong voice and personality and it was heavy on the “unreliable narrator aspect” and broke the third wall a lot. As Becca said, this could have been about 150 pages shorter. It really had me in the beginning 75 or so pages, and then it got kind of slow in the middle, and then the last 75 or so pages were really good again.

LOVED how the author embraced the whole "breaking the 4th wall" trope. Because of it, I was fully invested in the backstory, the unfolding, the delivery and the carnage. Brilliant!
