Well, this was a disappointment. It was boring as boring can be. :( I also didn't have a clue what was going on for most of the book. Cat mummies? Real mummies? Suddenly battles and Templars and what not?

This was a nice addition to the Parasol Protectorate. I would be delighted to read more of Alexander Tarabotti, too.

Well that was an interesting little story. Sandy is either gay or BI and was knight Templar. Werejackals? How curious.

I found the background story on Alexia's father interesting, although it was a fairly short short story. Worth a quick read if you like to know back story, but more along the lines of a "Deleted Scene" on a dvd than anything else.
