I can't believe Surtherland dropped me hints in this book and the fourth that Blue (my favorite character of this arc) wasn't doing well, the worst between him and Swordtail, and we didn't get any payoff. I mean, Swordtail tells Luna that Blue needs a hug and then nothing. They barely even talk about it.
I even thought Swordtail should've shown some side effects of having to do things against his will instead of immediately being his usual self.
I do wish other things w re done better but that's my main complaint.

I couldn't put this amazing YA series down. Each dragonette has had challenging family upbringings and has to struggle with those consequences, learn to overcome, and rise above. This is all characterbuilding for an incredible unique plot and a cast of richly imagined characters. Beautiful series, I hope there are more.
