I didn't like it as much as Memoirs of a Geisha. I didn't really relate or care about the protagonist as much and I never felt like I was there within the story. Though it didn't really grab me, it was worth reading, if you care about Japanese/Geisha culture.

A very interesting read! I couldn't put it down, although I do think that many things should be taken with a grain of salt... as is the case with most personal memoirs.

It took me longer than usual to finish this cause I've been in a book slump :( I read Memoirs of a Geisha in middle school and it was one of my favorite books, then I found out that the guy who wrote it was white???? ANYWAYS, I found this book so interesting! She led such an interesting life!
