A good little short story. Maybe a 20 minute read.
It feels somewhat contemporary despite being nearly a hundred years old, and I believe it established some terminology that went on to be used in all sorts of media later on (i.e. the term "lich" to describe the undead). Arguably a better read than most of the Lovecraft short stories it gets compared to.

Cada vez las dudas que tengo sobre si Clark Ashton Smith es el mejor o por el menos el de más imaginación y naturalidad dentro del círculo lovecraftniano se van dilatando. Especular parece su hobbie , dónde no necesita un plot twist enorme o vaivenes argumentales, para adornar una historia donde cohabita lo siniestro y especioso de la muerte y la magia.
