A picture book an adult would love.

Really quirky little story. Limited text but fabulous artwork. How childrens books should be.

Is this truly a children's picture book? I would argue not. Dillweed lives an unfortunate life. Absent parents, and horrid "guardians." His lizard-dog (I guess) Skorped is his closest (read only) friend.

A lot of odd choices were made in the creation of this book, but the illustrations are golden (unsurprisingly).

I enjoy a dark kids story, but this one was maybe a bit too dark. It’s definitely not safe enough for the school book drive.
