Read this for the 2023 Book Riot challenge. I've never really read a cookbook before, but the way that Smalls explains the theory and process behind the organization of this book is very interesting. There's tons of seafood recipes, which I won't be touching, but the veggies and baked goods look to die for.

"There's a lot of love in the memories of fried chicken" It's a great blend between memoir and cook book. Recipes seem easy to understand/ not too complicated and I have several tabbed for future meals
