I tried; I really, really tried to finish this book. I couldn’t make myself do it (thank goodness it was a freebie). I found the writing extremely clichéd; and when it wasn’t clichéd it was caught up in trying to be clever (it wasn’t). I couldn’t connect with Adacon and found myself not really caring about him or his adventure (a problem when he’s your point of view character). I wish there was more interaction, or at least the prose was entertaining enough to keep me reading until something happened; Sadly it did not.
