I finally got about to reading the comic that inspired the movie, and let me say that I remember enjoying the movie more than I enjoyed reading the comic. But it has been several years, nearly a decade since I watched the movie, so don't fully hold me to that. The comic was good though, and I do quite enjoy the idea that the riffraff and the secondary characters of more famous novels are called together like a form of Avengers, or Suicide Squad in order to stop Professor Moriarty from taking over the world. A good adventure comic and one that I wouldn't mind seeing more off, but won't be upset if I don't.

Fun with public domain characters
Wonderfully imaginative adventure story with characters drawn from classic Victorian literature. At times grotesque, it doesn't drag and the acid-tongued interactions between the members of the league are fantastically written.
