Poor Thaddeus thinks his baby sister's an alien as she only says ga and only as prime numbers.

Starts off as one of those boy-gets-a-baby-sister-and-doesn't-like-her stories, but then takes a sharp left turn into weirdness involving aliens, moustaches, and math.
A delightful comic book, simpler in plot than American Born Chinese but with a similar style and offbeat flavor.
Highly recommended to Yang's fans, people who like oddball comics, middle-school boys and those who think like them (including middle-aged women like me).

Thaddeus Young believes his baby sister is an alien because she says her "Ga gas" in prime numbers. She's the prime baby.
The storyline goes in a direction that surprised me a lot, and I'm not sure how much I liked that. However, I did like Thaddeus a lot and wouldn't mind seeing him in another book.

Thaddeus finds out that his baby sister is portal to another dimension that is letting these slug things into our world. He thinks they will be exciting and help him take over the world; they only want to spread hugs and happiness. He is disappointed.
It's not a bad story. I didn't get into the story. I think it wasn't my story. I wasn't crazy about the art either. I'm sure middle grade readers might find this delightful.

This was unexpectedly cute! The "Ga ga ga" revelation and slug pods were hilarious - the ending was sweet too :)

A cute little book about sibling rivalry, jealousy, loneliness, and love. And there are aliens. And cute babies that babble in prime numbers. :)

Very cute- kid is a sociopath, kid gets a sister, kid tries to convince grownups that sister is an alien. The art’s good and the real aliens are adorable.

Thaddeus is a brat and mostly obnoxious, but he has a point. Something strange is afoot when it comes to his baby sister. I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would. It was a fun and surprisingly sweet story of siblings.
