😭😭😭😭
I am running out of ways to describe these books. It's honestly a flood of different emotions all at once. The amount of times I just started screaming and cheering while reading this book was unreal!!!
If you like YA fantasy - please read these books!!!! 😭

This book was lighter than the one before. There were more giggle-worthy moments, and the questions from previous books have answers. The three plot reveals were more of a “ha! Called it!” moment then coming at any kind of shock.

I just borrowed the last book. If the dialogue tags follow every time someone speaks in this next one, I won’t be reading any other books in this universe. Hearing “he said” or “she said” followed by [adverb] (usually kindly) was getting annoying.

Elemental War starts out with a scary dream and a car chase with the Rejects running from the Task Force. This whole book is fast paced and has so much emotion through out its entirety. Even with all the tension of running from those who want them gone Sophie Liam Imogene and Jonah find time to have fun. I loved the way the Elemental War characters go through inner and outer healing
Spoilerthe Cleansing Ceremony with Liam and Sophie being an example

SpoilerChapter Nine was Impressive for sure with Liam becoming Chief of the Toaqua
Other scenes had my heart clenching in turmoil because they were so sad and even more had me jumping up and down in my seat with joy. I love Squeaks
Spoilershe gets a mate so cute and Baby so adorable
the Familiars sure did take the show.
Jonah gets someone special also yay.
I really liked the way Alicia and Megan made Imogene vulnerable in Elemental War she is usually upbeat and happy and helping her friends that I think she needed this growth.

That Bachelor and Bachelorette day and party was interesting and so much fun to read. and the Wedding what Chaos lol. Those Vows were amazing. Imogene's gift to Liam was my favorite I was crying when I read that part. I was shocked with some revelations and I just loved Luana I really want more of her character. and that Ending just Perfect. All in All a great penultimate to a series

Good storyline but it seems to have dragged on forever. I would have given it a 3.5 but I decided to round up rather than down.

The war is upon us in this book, you deal with Oleander’s bull crap and you lose someone very dear. I’ve cried and laughed in this book clear signs of a talented author.
