The Final Battle begins, and I am guessing we are going full Dragonball on it given that we still have 7 volumes left and this is pretty much the end boss (along with his lackeys) to defeat and they have to keep fighting until sunset. Which should just be a few hours, so I am getting a lot of dragon ball vibes, it could take episodes and episodes for a bit of time to move. So I hope I can stick to reading it. For this volume it was a resounding HECK yes because it was one big rollercoaster and full of exciting and shocking moments. About Tanjiro, about the crying Hashira whose name I keep forgetting, a confrontation happens. We learn more about the master of the Demon Slayers, we learn a dash about Muzan. There are amazing fights. I am quite excited about the next volumes, but also worried that I may get bored because it takes 7 whole volumes for the final battle.

Another awesome volume for an awesome series.

There were a lot of little things that I liked, like Giyo and Tanjiro trying to formulate a strategy to get on Genya's brother's good side (can't wait to see how that goes lol) and Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tanjiro getting some time together. Also, Zenitsu's reaction to the letter he received was chilling, he was so calm. I get the feeling badass Zenitsu's going to be making an appearance soon, which I'm hyped for! Let my boi shine more, he deserves it!

Himejima's backstory was interesting and while he's still my least favorite Hashira, I did enjoy what his backstory offered regarding the continuous theme of family and family struggles. His sword technique is super badass, though.

I am so HYPED, Shinobu got a chance to shine this volume and I am THERE FOR IT! Seeing her rage on full display and her awesome sword technique was an absolute treat. And I LOVED seeing her sister give her the strength to push on, I fucking LOVE how important family is in this series and how characters draw on their feelings towards their families for strength. I will never not love this theme, ever.

So, this volume signaled the final arc of the series. And there are 23 volumes total, right? Sooo, this final arc's gonna be 7 volumes long? *deep breath in, then out* Oh boy, this is going to be an emotionally exhausting final arc, that's for damn sure.
