Great look at FFVII through the lense of Norse mythology. All I can say is that I wanted and still want more! But I loved how MJ covers the entire Compilation of Final Fantasy VII and not just the original title.

Absolutely masterful combination of education on both the greater story of the FFVII Compellation AND Norse Mythology simultaneously. M.J. Gallagher captures the true essence of what being a fan of mythological and video game storytelling and how it affects us as contemporary consumers is all about with this book; a must-have for any FFVII superfan or mythology enthusiast!

It was a pleasure to read this book throughout my trips on the train back and forth to work. This is great for all fans of Norse Myth, Final Fantasy 7, both, and even one or the other! The artwork is also BREATHTAKING and truly worth a look!

Very informative and in-depth analysis about how Norse Myths relate to and have inspired characters, monsters, and locations in the game of FFVII.
It’s well written and researched, and easy to read and understand. The illustrations in the book are also gorgeous and add just that little something extra. A definite must-read for any FFVII fan.

This was a well-written and informative read that enhanced my understanding of the connection between Norse Myths and Final Fantasy VII. The content is knowledgeable, well-researched, and presented along with some very beautiful illustrations. Great read! I highly recommend this book to fans of Final Fantasy, Mythology, or both.
