ARC Review - I got this book as an ARC from Rachel Woe who i am a huge fan of her regular work. This is the first I’ve read of her pen name. Her story Barako was absolutely incredible, it was a story of a Mistress and her Pet. I read most of the other stories however they really weren’t my style. In general I’m not a huge fan of anthologies like this, I find it harder to enjoy such short stories. The writing style for a bunch of then stories were a bit too sophisticated for me. The one thing I did enjoy was all the different types of stories, and how they approached controversial topics such as gender identity, transgender individuals, and the LGBTQ+ community as a whole.
