Stingers is a book whose cover perfectly announces what lies within. Polished bug-horror that scratches at the things that freak us out most…and more.

Standouts for me:

- Wrong Number, which blends golden age scifi with a little social commentary
- Council Workers: the love child of Neil Gaiman, HG Wells and Douglas Adams
- No More Fly Eyes…an undefinable piece of fantasy-horror I found really moving
- And my favorite: Scourge…which brings to life an ancient religious tale and truly immerses us in the terror and darkness of the experience.

Nothing too short, nothing too long. Great fun with icky moments aplenty.
