Meh. It's boring. Not much substance. But I kind of expected that with a novella.

I previously read this novella as part of a complete anthology.

This was quite long for a novella, compared to other anthologies I've read, but I really enjoyed how it took the time to develop the relationship and the story between Britta and Milo and the struggles they both faced and how they worked to overcome them individually and then together to build a relationship. The library setting was entertaining, with Marian the librarian giving everyone assignments of classic must-read books to donate to the library. The writing was well done and a very entertaining read, from the Harvest Hurrah to the library itself and the town of Echo Ridge.

***I received a copy of the complete anthology from the author in exchange for my honest review.***
