While the overall plot was good, I was a bit disappointed in Kelly & Emma. The description led me to believe that Kelly is the main character just like in the other novella, The Silent Ghost, but she wasn't. Kelly turns to her mom for advice and before we know it, Emma is calling the shots and on the scene. This disappointed me A LOT !

I thought her first short story [b:The Silent Ghost|17405355|The Silent Ghost|Sue Ann Jaffarian|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1361433748s/17405355.jpg|24243500] was MUCH better. Still, not a bad short story to keep the characters fresh in a readers memory between full-length books.
