Way better than expected

Honestly was more into the story than the “romance” which is REALLY saying something for a romance novel. Would read a sequel if there was one.

Hot hot hot. Loved this book from the first page.
Collide by Megan Hart is the story of Emmaline and Johnny. Emmaline had a childhood accident that has shaped her life, she has fuges that can come on at any time and last for an undetermined amount of time. Emm has become a woman moving out of home for the first time into her own house, gotten a promotion at work, found new friends and a life she is enjoying until she meets Johnny. The fuges start back and they alter her life again.

Megan Hart again provides an erotic experience while intriguing the reader for the entire book. This book had me at the first chapter I wanted to turn the pages to find what was happening next. Emma and Johnny the main characters of the book seem to ooze off the page with chemistry. The sex scenes are steamy and hot and the relationship creates intrigue that keeps you wanting more from the couple. Emm with her fugues makes you want to read quicker to find where the story is going the only problem with this is that the quicker you read the quicker the story ends and this is my main problem I didn’t really want the story to end.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hot, steamy, erotic, romantic read.

Many people are going to dislike this book because of it's similarity to another (and sadly less racy) book. I predicted what was happening early on in the book but that didn't stop the enjoyment. I enjoyed every single page, every single second, and every single hot scene in this whole book. I loved it so much I immediately wanted to re-read it when I finished it. I know if you read the book that is similar (and there is a mention to this similar book in the book) you know which book everyone is going to compare it to, I don't want to give to much away so I won't tell you what it is.

I guess I will go into detail about why I love this book. It has a slow romantic build up but keeps you satisfied the way an erotic novel is supposed to. I love the sheer sensuality of Ms. Hart's writing, every single scene, from drinking coffee, to making love, is a decadent and sensual experience for not only the characters but the readers.

The characters also are top notch. Ms. Hart has a trend of giving you at least one, slightly out of the norm, character in every book she writes, but this one both the main characters are slightly off. Johnny is older than I would imagine any of my book heroes but she doesn't make it a big deal and I find myself falling in love with a man that is thirty-ish years my senior, wierd but...it works. I love Emm, she knows exaclty what she wants and she uses any, and you will see...any...means to get it.

This book also had a suprising ending. Ms. Hart has a trend of giving you an ending that may or may not be happy. Sometimes they are sort of pick you own, or they can be happy for now and she leaves the readers to speculate on what happens. This one was a suprise from her norm and I really liked it. I loved this book. LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED. Can't wait to read another by Ms. Hart, hopefully soon.

Emm moved to a new city, made a best friend, began a life of her own, and fell into instant lust with her best friend's movie crush: Johnny Dellasandro. Since her freak accident as a child, Emm has odd blackouts that left her feeling off centered and ill. She thought the episodes were gone for good but they came back with a vengeance. Will she ever have a normal life? Is it just her imagination or did she really find true love?

I love the girl talks, how Johnny's accent makes Emm burn with lust, the total atmospheric change that occurs when Emm flashes back, and the depth of passion between Emm & Johnny.

The idea of being intricately entwined by Fate and a love so true that time bends itself backwards to make it happen is sweet and intoxicating. My interest waned as the story continued and Emm failed to show growth for most of the book. There's no real understanding of the flashbacks. Just because is not enough of a reason when everything else has a "cause" to explain why.

I keep trying to figure out the age difference between Emm & Johnny in my head as I read the story. Johnny has to be a least 30 years older than Emm. There aren't that many people who can pull of looking like a stud around their mid-50's. Love conquers all?

I am cheesy enough to appreciate a happy ending. =)
Yah, I'm cool with Emm and Johnny sticking together forever.

The End.
