Cute story of a prehistoric boy and his pet dinosaur, though no one else in his tribe can see the dinosaur. Great read for 2nd and 3rd graders.

The kids in my library will eat this up. Dinosaurs are supposed to be extinct, but luckily for Tib he finds one and it becomes his best friend. Tumtum is really good at hide and seek. Tib is telling tall tales just like his dad. The illustrations are accessible to any age and the way the story breaks makes it a great bed time book because it can be put down and easily picked up again.
