Fallon's story is so fast paced that there's not a moment to breathe, and I really like it when that happens! I'm really enjoying this Beauty and the Beast retelling, and I'm so happy I'm really liking Fallon even when he sounds like a big baby!

Fallon's story started off intense and fast paced and it doesn't slow down or get any easier in this book. He manages to get himself in a bit of hot water in addition to what "the darkness" is throwing at him and the kingdom. The magical abilities that were hinted at in the first book make another appearance as well.
Fallon is leaning, and growing up fast, but is it fast enough? And will the kingdom be willing to view him as a leader? Time is running out.
