I'm not the biggest Rick and Morty fan, but I have been getting back into D&D and it piqued my interest. This trade is fairly well written, staying true to both IPs. I marked out when I saw the Dungeon Master.

Ahh, what a great homage to the editions on d&d ~ Much love

Def. made by people who know the game and have a deep love for it. I especially love all the in jokes with skipping 4th, seeing certain editions of creatures, and all the d&d 80s cartoon references! My favorite part is seeing the cartoon dm change forms to people who have taken up the mantle

The art and story I really enjoyed.

This was such a fun sort of crossover comic! This was really my first Rick and Morty comic. I honestly enjoyed it so much! The jokes are one point and there's surprisingly a few heartwarming moments. If you've played a bit of D&D then you'll really get how spot on the jokes are. Of course there's the typical shenanigans you expect from Rick and Morty. I wasn't sure if I would like the art style or in the least be able to tolerate it, but the art is great.

Overall I found it to be a fun read and would recommend it to people that enjoy both Rick and Morty along with Dungeons & Dragons.
I do plan on reading the second volume at some point.

For a sequel it was good. The art was fantastic! I enjoyed the extra bit of artwork that was included, as well as the character sheets for the Ricks that appeared in the story. Speaking of the story it was alright. It was a bit slow to get into and a bit overly fluffed. It was a fun read, however; the first one is still my favorite of the two. I did like how the ending wrapped things up. I will say that while I enjoyed this series, I don't think I a third volume would be viable.
Overall, it was a great series and this was a nice read and a good way to wrap it all up.

It was interesting to see how they displayed elements of D&D in this comic. Whilst it wasn't really faithful to the mechanics in the end, it was very faithful to the Rick and Morty theme.

I was surprised by the Adventure Zone reference.

Patrick Rothfuss wrote a comic where Rick & Morty do D&D stuff. If you like all the names in that sentence then this book is for you. If you dislike any of the 3 probably steer clear.

My only real complaint is that it's fuck*ng censored for some reason.
