I watched this show when I was a little kid with my mom and vaguely remembered what happen. So when I was off to college I bought the first couple seasons and watched them. Then, i discovered there were books that went along with the series. I found the shows more interested it was basically verbatim from the book to the show and the book was alright. It took a while to finish it because I started other books just couldn't keep my attention.

Silly and over-dramatic-- perfect if you're looking for something to turn off your brain for an hour or two.

This book includes novelizations for the first five episodes of the series: The Class of Beverly Hills, The Green Room, Every Dream has its Price (Tag), One on Oneand The First Time. As far as novelizations go, it sticks pretty close to the episodes on which it's based. There are differences along the way that indicate this was written prior to filming. It's a fun, quick read. I would have liked a little more devoted to stitching the episodes together or at least having a final chapter that puts them all in perspective. As is, each episode segment stood alone and there was nothing in the format that indicated when you were switching to a new episode.

For my take on the episodes included in this book stop by the 9021 Here we G0! Podcast and tune in to our rewatch talk: https://soundcloud.com/9021hereweg0/9021-here-we-go-episode-1-the-pilot

**A Book Based on or Turned into a TV Show**

The only thing good about this book, was that it was short.

This is a book I purchased years ago at a Goodwill and only now got around to reading. It was incredibly dated and some of the characters felt totally OOC from how they are on TV. I definitely prefer the TV version.

The novel was just lacking something.
