I'm happy to be a part of such a unique concept for an anthology. I contributed two stories, one about David Foster Wallace and one about Jorge Luis Borges. Like bookends, as it were, they appear at the beginning and end of the collection, respectively. Each of my stories takes on the voice, tics, and obsessions of the author in question. It is my small way of honoring the influence they've had on me as a writer.

Now, after reading the whole anthology, one can see how this is truly a work of love for the deceased authors and their books, for literature in general. I particularly enjoyed the stories about James Joyce, Donald Barthelme, Zelda Fitzgerald, Richard Brautigan, and Sylvia Plath, but all of them have something to offer. Some are dark, some are humorous, some are touching, some are clever, some are all of the above.

By the way, I had an interesting exchange with the editor/publisher of this collection. Read the interview here.
